ABOUT CITY CIRCUS

City Circus is a 3-generation strong professional circus ensemble and training program of Urban Circus Arts - a hybrid performance discipline that integrates traditional circus arts and modern urban street arts into a showcase of acrobatics, breakdancing, aerial arts, parkour, contortion and hip-hop theater.

City Circus has become the world's foremost training and performance program of Urban Circus Arts. This multi-ethnic ensemble ranges in age from preteen through adult, tapping the old-world tradition of teen apprentices studying and performing alongside acknowledged master artists.

City Circus is the performance arm of San Francisco physical and circus arts gym AcroSports, whose training program graduates have taken the stage with City Circus and joined the ranks of the most celebrated circus arts performers in the Bay Area and beyond. Co-Founder and Executive Director of Dorrie Huntington has developed AcroSports into a leading circus arts gym and training program for pre-school through adult students training for a cirque career or looking for a unique gym experience.
